WATERVILLE — KV Connect, 50 Elm St., is conducting a logo design contest to help rebrand its organization and promote its mission.
The winning designer will receive these prizes:
• A free one-year Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce membership, which covers up to two employees, plus social media promotion on chamber pages; and
• Free access to one professional development course through Thomas College — Harold Alfond Institute for Business Innovation.
Contest guidelines:
• Logo designs should include the KV Connect name, reflect its region (Waterville to Skowhegan), and speak to its mission. To learn more, view its video at kvconnect.org, its Facebook page, and other social media.
• Target audience is young professionals ages 21-40; and
• Each entrant is to submit a minimum of three logo variations in jpeg or png formats.
After all entries are received, KV Connect may make requests for one round of revisions.
Entries can be emailed to [email protected] and will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 4.
The organization plans to unveil its rebranded KV Connect later this year.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
