
Philip C. “Butch” Proulx
FAIRFIELD – Philip C. “Butch” Proulx, 77, passed away on Friday, Jan. 7, 2021, at home with his loving family at his side. He is the loving husband of Jocelyn D. “Jocie” (Feyler) Proulx with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
Butch was born August 26, 1944, in Waterville, son of the late Albert and Ruth (Bradeen) Proulx. A graduate of Waterville High School, Colby College, and the University of Puerto Rico where he received his master’s degree.
He was a United States Air Force veteran.
Butch worked as a Loan Officer for Small Business Administration.
In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Butch also enjoyed golfing and was an avid sportsman.
In addition to his loving wife Jocie, Butch is survived by his son Craig Feyler of Fairfield; two grandchildren Jillian and Nolan; his sister Carol Denis of Waterville, his sister-in-law Louise Proulx of Waterville; his dear friend Deanna Levesque and her husband Luc and Pat Shea, his golfing buddy Stan Bolduc; his loyal cat Maxie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Butch is the brother of the late David and John Proulx.
