OAKLAND – Sheila Barbara Kinney of Oakland, passed away on Jan. 12, 2022, one week shy of her 75th birthday.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1947 to the late Shirley R. and Margaret B. Bowden Carter of Winthrop. She attended the Winthrop Public Schools system where she played trumpet and was a member of the glee club. She was employed by Consolidated Delivery Service. Additionally, she was a support staff employee for EMS of Augusta. Her hobbies were reading and crocheting.

Shelia was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother. She is survived by three sons, two daughters; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, one brother; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Committal to take place at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn.
