WATERVILLE — Registration is open for Thomas College’s annual Dirty Dog Mud Run, which open to the public.
The run is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, on the 180 West River Road campus.
The event is a 5K, 15-obstacle course that loops through the woods and campus. Obstacles include mud, tire flips, wall climbing, and cargo net climbing, according to a news release from the college.
The event is open to community members, and a mini obstacle course, the Pup Run, is open to children up to age 10. Participants can create a team or are welcome to make this an individual challenge.
“I am so excited to create a new muddy course on campus and welcome back our racers who have become almost family in many ways, having shared five-plus years of racing and growing on our campus,” said race coordinator Jim Delorie.
The mud run is sponsored by Central Maine Motors, and the Pup Run is sponsored by New Balance.
Tickets costs $30 for adults until Feb. 15, $45 after Feb. 15, and $5 for children.
