Kim (Carolyn) Graham Lucas Vicneire

EMBDEN – Kim (Carolyn) Graham Lucas Vicneire of Embden passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 2, 2022. Kim was born in Rumford, Maine on Aug. 15 1951, to Barbara and Robert Lucas. She attended Gould Academy, Valley High School and later earned her diploma through Carrabec High School.

Kim married James Vicneire Sr. on October 6, 1969, and worked with him to help build the family logging business. Through the years she tried her hand at many jobs including cashiering at Douin’s Elm Street Market and Mankie’s One Stop; CNA; Life Line Installer; and found passion as an in home PCA providing care and comfort to many elderly in the community.

The time she spent coaching the Embden Indian softball and cheering teams were the most rewarding. Kim was a member of the Embden School PTO and volunteered for many school trips with her children. Over the years many referred to her as ‘mom’, she was The Fun Mom! Kim’s door was always open to two legged and four legged friends. Fostering and finding good homes for MANY MANY MANY cats over the years.

Supporting her grandchildren and friends at numerous sporting events brought Kim so much joy; she was their #1 fan. Family meant the world to her and she got the greatest joy from family bbq’s, gatherings at camp and visiting with her many friends on the porch or at the kitchen table.

Kim will be greatly missed by her children: J.V., Susan, P.J., Chris, Ann and their spouses; grandchildren: Melanie, Cristie, Nicholas, Alicia, Amber, Jenna, Jared, Makayla, Lucas, Aiyanna, Pete and Amiya; greatgrandchildren: Theo, Olive and Braedon, Aubreigh, Charlotte, and Ryker, Sister-in-law Shirley Ainsworth and spouse. She will also be missed by her companion Allen, and her lifelong friend and father of her children Jimmy.

A Celebration of her beautiful life will be planned for a later date.
