Della T. Kimball

AUGUSTA – Della T. Kimball, 94, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at her home following a long illness. She was born in Augusta, on Jan. 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Horace and Edna G. (Hoyt) Thomas.Mrs. Kimball was a graduate of Cony High School and had been a homemaker for most of her life.She had been employed by the State of Maine for several years.Mrs. Kimball was a member of Green Street United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Woman’s Club and volunteered at the St. Mark’s Food Bank.She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ashley F. Kimball; her brothers: Linwood and Donald Thomas and her sister, Arlene Thomas.Mrs. Kimball is survived by her two daughters: Anne Kimball of Readfield and Susan E. Ryerson and her husband James of Sidney; three grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.There will be no public visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, at 11 a.m., at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. Burial will be in the spring in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt.
