AUGUSTA — The Class A North boys and girls basketball finals Friday have been postponed to Saturday because of anticipated inclement weather, the Maine Principals’ Association announced Thursday.

The Class A North girls final between No. 1 Skowhegan (20-0) and No. 3 Lawrence (17-3) is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Augusta Civic Center. The A North boys final between top-seeded Nokomis (19-1) and No. 2 Brewer (18-2) will follow at 8:45 p.m.

The MPA also shifted the opening tipoff times for the D South and C South finals, as well.

The Class C South girls final is Saturday at 10 a.m. The C South boys final will follow at 11:45 a.m.

The D South girls title game between Seacoast Christian and Forest Hills tips off at 1:30 p.m. The D South boys final between No. 1 Forest Hills and No. 2 Valley will follow at 11:45 a.m.
