Jeffrey W. Picard

SKOWHEGAN – Jeffrey W. Picard, 61, of Skowhegan passed away at home Feb. 20, 2022. He was proud to be an Army Veteran. Jeff worked in the harness horse racing industry for many years. He worked for the Gary Mosher Stable, Continental Farm, and others. He loved all animals, especially his dog Daisy and his cat Socks. He also liked working in the woods.Jeff loved the great outdoors. Fishing was a passion of his. He was often on fishing trips to remote ponds with his good friend Dana. When his two young nephews were old enough he would take them along, teaching them how to fly fish and drive his old truck, unbeknownst to their parents until later. Jeff was a great neighbor to have. Always lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Rosie Picard, and his brother Gary. He is survived by two sisters, Michele Mosher and husband Gary, and Bobbie Young and husband Tim; two nephews Garrett and Craig and two nieces Sara and Jamie.Donations canbe made to the:Skowhegan animal shelter
