Dale Allen Mosher

FAIRPLAY, Mo. – Dale Allen Mosher, 77, of Fairplay, Mo., passed away on Feb. 14, 2022 with his daughter Tammy by his side. Dale was born in Waterville, Maine on May 5, 1944 to Merle and Betty Mosher of Smithfield. Dale attended Smithfield School. He worked for his father on the farm and also drove a dump truck. Dale in his younger days was a coon hunter with his dog Blue. He remained an avid deer hunter with his brother William and his friend Brian Haines. He loved dancing with his wife Sandra.He worked in the woods for himself cutting logs with his horse Rudy. He also worked for Clayton Brann cutting firewood, and for Tukey Brothers Sawmill. While in Missouri he worked cutting and building fence rows for Steve, Donnie, Rosie, Buzz, also cutting walnut logs for John Clemens of Missouri.Dale was predeceased by his parents Merle and Betty Mosher, his wife Sandra Levesque Mosher, and his sister Lois Jean Mosher of Smithfield.Dale is survived by his siblings William Mosher of Missouri, Joan Butler and her husband Jon of Smithfield. He is also survived by his four children Shannon and partner Beverly of Missouri, Harris and his wife Michele of Norridgewock, Joey and his wife Lynn of Smithfield, and Tammy Nadeau of North Carolina. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.There will be a family service to be held in the Spring.
