
WATERVILLE — University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Maine Dairy Industry Association plan to host an in-person conference from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.
The 2022 Maine Dairy Seminar and MDIA Annual Meeting will include featured speakers, a trade show, and association and other industry updates.
Speakers include Glenda Pereira, UMaine Extension dairy specialist and University of Maine School of Food and Agriculture assistant professor; Juan Romero, UMaine School of Food and Agriculture associate professor of animal nutrition; and Rick Grant, president of the William H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute, Chazy, New York.
The free event includes lunch. Registration is required by Wednesday, March 9, to register, visit extension.umaine.edu.
