Capital City Improv plans to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water St. in Gardiner.
Using audience suggestions and interviews, Capital City Improv creates unique, on-the-spot comedy shows that live for one night only.
Dennis Price, founder, studied and performed improvisation in Chicago with The Second City and IO Theater (formerly ImprovOlympic). While performing with IO house team Honeyslide, Price watched and worked with some of the best improvisers in Chicago.
He brings some of the best improvisors in the business and creates one-of-a-kind comedy before your very eyes.
This will be the last performance in Johnson Hall before we begin construction to renovate the historic opera house on the third floor.
Tickets cost $18.
For tickets, or more information, call the box office at 207-582-7144 between noon and 2 p.m. Tuesday, noon-3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday noon to 3:00pm, and after 5 p.m. day of show, or visit johnsonhall.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
