MADISON — The Auxiliary to Harvell-Bishop Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7865 are seeking registrants, sponsors, vendors and prize donations for its first car show.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 160 Preble Ave., with a rain date of June 25, according to a news release from the auxiliary.
The auxiliary is raising funds to support the work it does for local veterans, their families, veteran services and community needs. Organizers welcome owners of an antique, classic, muscle or specialty car, or a jacked-up or decked-out truck, to be part of the day.
Vehicle registration begins at 8 a.m.
Judging classes are 1. Original-Stock; 2. General-Modified; 3. Work-in-progress; and 4. Best in Show. The Best in Show class is based on public votes.
There will be raffles and giveaways throughout the event. Admission costs $5 per person and is free to children younger than 5.
