Patricia (Patsy/Pat) Magoon

NORTH ANSON – Patricia (Patsy/Pat) Magoon, 82, of North Anson, passed away on March 21, 2022, at her home with her beloved husband Richard (Dick) Magoon and family at her side. She was born in St. Stephens, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Elliott L. and Annie (Lena) M. Thompson, on June 10, 1939.

After many years working in the banking industry, Pat enjoyed her retirement on Fahi Pond in North Anson and summering in Florida. She loved spending time with family, reading, crafting and gardening.

Pat was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dick Magoon of North Anson, brother Barry Thompson and wife Roberta of Eastportl and five children, daughter Valerie Herbert and husband James of Ellsworth, son Tim Magoon and wife Kathy of Old Town, daughter Lisa Brannan and husband Patrick of Maybell, Colo., son Frank Magoon and wife Julie of Carrabassett Valley, and daughter Laurie Soucik and husband Chuck of N. Las Vegas, Nev. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Devon Murdock, Neacail Murdock, Megan Randlett and husband Josh, Matt Herbert wife Emily, and Andrew Herbert; and three great-grandchildren Christopher Murdock, Hannah and Sadie Randlett. Pat was predeceased by her parents Elliott and Annie (Lena) Thompson of Eastport; and her sister Betty Ferguson of Eastport.

Pat will be laid to rest with her parents at Bayside Cemetery in Eastport at a private family service at a future date. Arrangements are trusted to Mays Funeral Home, Calais and Eastport Maine. Condolences and memories may be shared at http://www.MaysFuneralHome.com.
