PORTLAND – Carl Alan “CJ” McKenney Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Portland at the age of 58. Carl was born to Carl A. McKenney Sr. and Gail A. (Folsom) McKenney on Jan. 2, 1964. He graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1984 and moved to Portland shortly thereafter.

Carl loved a simple life, he enjoyed watching professional wrestling and being kept up to date on the family. He also enjoyed his morning trip to Dunkin and enjoyed his time helping out at Amistaad and the friends he made there.

Carl was predeceased by his father, Carl A. McKenney Sr. He is survived by his mother Gail; his daughter Linda Waterman and her children Keagan and Roslynn; his sisters Vanessa (McKenney) Jordan (Richard), Terri (McKenney) Gerard, Pamela (McKenney) Hanscom, Sheila McKenney, and Kim (McKenney) Mercier, his brother Michael McKenney (Tammy); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
