Ruth E. (Joler) Letourneau

WINSLOW – Ruth E. (Joler) Letourneau, 80, passed away March 28, 2022, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born July 2, 1941 in Waterville, the daughter of George A. and Marie E. (Mathieu) Joler. She attended Heart of Mary School, Mount Merici and Mid State College. On July 19, 1958, she married Richard J. Letourneau, Sr. She was employed at Sisters Hospital and retired from the physical plant department at Colby College.Ruth enjoyed playing cribbage, sewing, crocheting, and taking trips up north, enjoying grandchildren, great grandchildren and being with family.She is survived by sons, Richard Jr. of Winslow, Robert and partner Kristen Huestic of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Daniel and wife Lois of Ocala, Florida, Ronald of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; daughters, Linda Quimby and husband Donald of Fairfield, Patricia Letourneau and partner John Spooner of Fairfield, Shirley Stanley of Fairfield, Betty Theriault and husband Danny of Fairfield; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren; brother, Earl Joler of Winslow. She was predeceased by husband, Richard J Letourneau Sr.; companion and best friend, Ronald G Poulin; and Andy Mosher.A Celebration of Life will be held June 4, 2022 from 1-4 p.m., at the Fairfield VFW, Main Street, Fairfield.Arrangements under the direction and care of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan ME 04976.In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Ruth’s memory to a charity of their choice.
