Linda Bernadette Griffeth

NORRIDGEWOCK – Linda Bernadette Griffeth, 68, died on Friday, April 1, 2022 at her Norridgewock home with her husband by her side.

Linda was born on Nov. 6, 1953 to Leo and Bernadette Meunier in Skowhegan and grew up in Norridgewock with her parents and sister. She graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1972.

Linda married Alan Griffeth on August 27, 1976 and they were blessed with two children, Allen and Jason. She decorated wreaths at Central Maine Wreath for many winters and worked at Norwalk Shoe, Dexter Shoe, Mr. Paperback Bookstore, and Skowhegan Savings Bank until she retired. Linda enjoyed her retirement reading romance novels, doing arts and crafts, crocheting and spending time with her family at every opportunity.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Bernadette Meunier, her father-in-law, George Griffeth, her mother-in-law, Barbara Griffeth; and her son, Jason Griffeth.

Linda is survived by her husband, Alan; her son, Allen and wife Sonya of Skowhegan; her sister, Carol and husband Scott Lambert of Norridgewock; her two grandchildren, Teagan Griffeth and Dalton Griffeth, and Dalton’s companion Miranda Meader; as well as special friends Arthur and Shelia Kelly of Skowhegan; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her beloved French Bulldog, Tessa.

We know that we can’t have you but we’re happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.
