Dora Brunelle

AUGUSTA – Dora Brunelle, 81, of Augusta, died April 13, 2022 at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care at Gray Birch Drive after an extended illness. She was born in Wallagrass on Dec. 29, 1940, the daughter of Edward Toussaint and Ida (Pelletier) Toussaint.

Dora was a graduate of Cony High School of Augusta. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by W.T. Grant Department Store for several years. She was previously employed by McCrory’s Store as a manager for several years.

Dora was a member of St. Michael Parish at St. Augustine Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Debra Cloutier and husband Ray of Augusta, Donna Nelson and husband John of Sidney, and Deanna Lefebre of Augusta; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no planned public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday April 21 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Ave., Augusta. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Augusta.
