Nezinscot Farm and Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District plan to celebrate Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Maine Outdoor Wellness Center, 69 River Road Building C in Turner.
The free event includes mushroom walks, children’s activities, herbal foot soaks, discussions on herbalism and beekeeping, and participate in installing the first pollinator garden at the wellness center with Permatours.
Attendees also can learn how to sheet mulch and other permaculture practices.
