A Chelsea Summer Concerts series is set to open with Denny Breau at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 9 at the Town Office, 560 Togus R0ad. If it rains the concerts will be at Chelsea Elementary School; bring a chair or blanket.
Breau mixes genres with ease: Folk, Delta blues, country and jazz. He brings warmth and a down home friendliness, creating family as he sings.
Upcoming Monday concerts include Back Woods Road on June 13, Laura Hudson Project on July 11, Working Class on Aug. 8, Chris Poulson and the Social Club on Sept. 12, and The Jeff Tones on Oct. 10.
Concerts are free to the public; food trucks will be on site.
