Rita G. Lewis

FARMINGTON – Rita G. Lewis, 91, of Woodlands Senior Living of Farmington, died April 28, 2022 at Sandy River Rehab Center. She was born in Waterville, Dec. 12, 1930, the daughter of Oliver and Hattie Cote.

Rita worked at Thayer Hospital in the housekeeping department for 18 years. She was a devote Catholic, loved working in her countless flower beds, vegetable garden and watching the birds.

Moving into Woodlands assisted living three years ago she enjoyed puzzles, playing bingo and sitting on the front patio sharing stories with many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband George Sr.; and son George Jr. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Devoe and husband Lewis, son Allen Lewis and wife Gail, son Jeffrey Lewis and wife Barbara; and nine grandchildren. This lovely little lady will be sadly missed.

A graveside service at St. Francis Cemetery will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service.
