The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce has named the winners of its sixth annual Best Dog on Earth Day event, a celebration of dogs and Earth Day.

Participants were entered in a raffle for a prize basket of items donated by local businesses. The winner was Jeffery Brann and his Golden Retriever Boone.

Other winners included Biggest Dog — Turbo/Mat Viehmann; Most Handsome — Boone/Jeffery Brann; Prettiest Dog — Maisy/Martha Thompson; Look Alike — Ida; and Smallest Dog – Halley.

The chamber recognizes Franklin County Animal Shelter, and its sponsors Children in Action, New York Life (Kyle LaRochelle), Rangeley Region Sport Shop and Applesauce Hill.
