The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce in Augusta plans to host a Chamber Connection via Zoom at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 18.
The event will feature a presentation, “Legislative Debrief and Look Ahead,” with panelists Dana Connors, Peter Gore, Linda Caprara, Ben Lucas and Simon West. The event is free to all chamber members.
The Maine State Chamber of Commerce staff will present legislative activity from the second regular session of the 130th Maine Legislature and a look ahead to the following legislative session. They will discuss the critical role and valuable insight local business leaders contribute to the legislative process, according to a news release from the chamber.
Regional state senators and representatives have been invited to contribute to the conversation.
Chamber Connections is a quarterly series that focuses on the political environment within the State Capitol. Each program is designed to be a non-partisan, informational presentation that addresses topics that directly and indirectly affect chamber members.
Chamber Connections aims to inform and educate members while encouraging their participation in the political process. Sponsors are Central Maine Power and Kennebec Savings Bank.
