AUGUSTA — With inclement weather in the forecast, the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference adjusted its track and field championship meet schedule.
All three meets — Large, Medium and Small School — will be held Friday.
Messalonskee will host the Large School meet, while Cony will host the Small and Medium School meets.
BASEBALL
MT. ABRAM 9, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 4: Winning pitcher Trevor Phelps struck out eight batters and Kayden Pillsbury had three his, including a double, and drove in two runs as the Roadrunners (11-2) sailed past the Mustangs (12-3) in Monmouth).
Phelps also had a hit and drove in two runs for Mt. Abram Ian Allen doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Monmouth Acacdemy’s Matt Marquis had two hits.
OAK HILL 10, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Jackson Arbour threw a no-hitter and struck out seven batters in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Rumford.
Jackson went all six innings and walked only three batters.
The Raiders (9-5) erupted with five runs in the first inning and cruised the rest of the way. Trent Drouin had two hits and drove in thee runs.
Mountain Valley dropped to 2-12.
SOFTBALL
RICHMOND 21-25, FOREST HILLS 1-3: The Bobcats rolled to a doubleheader sweep of the Tigers in Richmond.
Lila Viselli had five hits for Richmond (10-5) in the first game, including a double and triple. Breonna Dufresne had four hits, while Jaiden Alexander added two doubles.
Dufresne cracked a home run for the Bobcats in the second game, while Izzy Stewart had two doubles.
Madison Petrucci had a home run in the second game for Forest Hills (4-11).
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 9, OAK HILL 3: The Falcons supplied 18 hits and erupted with eight runs in the sixth inning to overpower the Raiders in a Mountain Valley Conference game.
Mallorie Bourret and Ali Legere each had three hits for Mountain Valley (6-8).
GARDINER 18, CONY 10: Cam Rizzo scored nine goals to lead the Tigers to a win over the rival Rams in Gardiner.
Sean Doyle and Cole Brann each had two goals for Gardiner (6-5). Connor Cote had 10 saves.
Jack Morrill and Kyle Crooker each had four goals for Cony (4-7). Eli Beland had six saves.
