DAMARISCOTTA — The Inn Along the Way, located at Chapman Hall Farm, 74 Main St., is set to host a fundraiser from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11.
The by-donation fundraiser for the inn will feature Finntown Road, Damariscotta Open Mic, inn tours and hay field walks, according to a news release from the inn.
Community members attending the inn’s music and remembrance lawn and barn party can bring their own picnic. The event will feature musicians and performance artists from all genres.
Open mic performer registration begins at 1 p.m.
Finntown Road, whose performance will begin at 3 p.m., is a group of four mid-coast Mainers who banded together after years of playing music at a local tavern.
Offering old songs of the sea, as well as folk, rock, popular music and originals, the band includes Brian Dunn (mandolin, banjo, vox), Laura Buxbaum (cello, vox), John Couch (guitar, harmonica, vox) and John Monterisi (guitar, vox).
