Deanna L. (Brown) Gilblair

SKOWHEGAN – Deanna L. (Brown) Gilblair, 79, passed away June 2, 2022 at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan surrounded by her family. She was born October 17, 1942 in Skowhegan, the daughter of Clayton L. and Marie E. (Nadeau) Brown.She graduated from Solon High School in 1961. On November 26, 1966 she married Donald E Gilblair. She worked several years for H & R Block and as a bookkeeper for Gilblair Trucking. She also owned and operated Pine Grove Trailer Park. Deanna enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking, playing bingo and helping out at the Skowhegan Food Cupboard.Deanna is survived by brother, Ronald A. Brown; sister, Robin Robinson; sisters-in-law, Barbara Gilblair, granddaughter Alisyn, June Manzer and husband Sherman. Special friend James Provost and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Gilblair; son Edward F. Gilblair, grandson Edward D. Gilblair parents; sisters, Darleen McEwen, Linda Breingan, brother Roger L. Brown; and in-laws, Francis and Mary E. Glblair.A graveside service will be held Friday June 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Calvary Cemetery, North Avenue, Skowhegan.Arrangements under the direction and care of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan, ME 04976.In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Deanna’s memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, NNE Chapter, 114 Perimeter Road Unit E,Nashua, NH 03063.
