A Chelsea Summer Concerts series will feature Back Woods Road at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 13 at the Town Office, 560 Togus R0ad. If it rains the concerts will be at Chelsea Elementary School; bring a chair or blanket.

The band includes Jane Bernier on guitar, Rich Bernier on dobro, Mike Conant on fiddle, Jason Wescott on guitar/banjo and Jake McCarthy on bass.
In 2007, Richard, his wife, and brother Don put The Nitpickers together with Rick Dale and Woody Woods. They played all over the state and competed in the band contest at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival. The band was very successful but came to an end in 2011. That’s when Back Woods Road was formed – a 3-piece high energy acoustic bluegrass band that played a lot in a two year span.
Other concerts in the series include the Laura Hudson Project set for July 11, Working Class on Aug. 8, Chris Poulson and the Social Club Sept. 12, and The Jeff Tones on Oct. 10.
Concerts are free to the public and food trucks will be on site.
