Alan Dale Linton

LARGO, Fla. – Alan Dale Linton, 62, of Monmouth, Maine, and Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Largo Hospital in Florida after battling cancer. His family remembers him as loving son, brother, and uncle. He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 3, 1959, the son of Dale and Norma Linton. He attended Monmouth and Litchfield schools and graduated from Oak Hill High School. Alan worked as a cook at local restaurants in Maine and Florida. He loved to watch it snow in Maine, eating ice cream with his mother, building wooden projects with his father and spending time with his sister. His kind heart will be missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his loving parents, Dale and Norma Linton of Monmouth, his sister and brother-in-law, Libby and Kevin Gowell. Sr. of Litchfield and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Linton and sister-in-law, Patricia Linton, a niece, Catherine Linton and his paternal grandparents.
