Keith Aaron Putek

GARDINER – Keith Aaron Putek, 33, of Gardiner, passed away unexpectedly in Augusta, on Monday June 6, 2022.

Keith is survived by his father, Jann Putek; his brother, Robb Putek and his wife Crystal Putek; his daughter, Abigail Arin Putek and Abby’s mother, Katelynn Dougherty; his niece, Caylee Putek, his nephews Billy Howell and Nathan Howell; and aunts, uncles; cousins; and several friends.

Keith was predeceased by his mother, Dee Putek who he loved with all his heart; and his grandparents Robert “Bob” and Janet Putek.

Keith was born in Holyoke, Mass., Feb. 13, 1989 to Jann and Dee Putek. As a child Keith loved playing soccer with his brother, enjoyed Pokémon, Legos and Star Wars. As an adult he loved playing disc golf with friends, his brother, Robb and sister-in-law, Crystal. One of his favorite memories was winning second place during the Veterans for Vets tournament at DND.

Keith would tell you that his biggest accomplishment in adulthood was his daughter, Abby. He was a stay-at-home dad who thought the world of his daughter, always wanting what was best for her. Keith had the biggest heart! His smile was contagious and he would talk to anyone who would listen.

Sadly for us, but lucky for him, God was listening and answered his prayers. Now he is no longer in pain, and is flying free.

A private service will be held on Saturday July 9 for family and friends. For more information, please email [email protected]
