WINTHROP — Tthe 20th annual Friends on the 4th 5K Run/Jog/Walk is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday July 4, at Norcross Point. The race, with a scenic course that runs along the eastern shore of Maranacook Lake, is open to all ages.

The registration fee is $25 for those 11 and older and $15 for those 10 and younger. Event day registration is $35 with no guarantee of T-shirt and gift bag. Same day registration may be available for 7-7:45 a.m. at the American Legion on Bowdoin Street; early registration is encouraged.
