Nancy Ellen (Graham) Osborne-Webb
GLOUCESTER, ENGLAND – Nancy Ellen (Graham) Osborne-Webb passed away on June 24, 2022, from complications from diabetes. Nancy was born in Lewiston, Maine, on July 8, 1951, the daughter of Malcolm Ray Graham, Jr. and Elsie Graham.
She graduated from Monmouth Academy in Monmouth, Maine in 1969 then went on to attend the University of Maine at Orono, ultimately graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 1973 with a degree in Nursing.
Nancy was known for her sense of humor and never let her disabilities hold her back. Shortly after graduating college, while working as an RN at Maine Medical Center in Portland, she suffered a stroke which left her paralyzed on one side of her body – but she persevered. She was a talented machine quilter, artist and cook. She also had an intense love of animals, especially for the many dogs that were part of her family over the years.
During the course of her nursing career, she worked at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Togus VA Hospital in Augusta and Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Colin Osborne of Gloucester, England; her brother, Ray Graham of Monmouth; and her niece, Angie Graham Audette of Jefferson. She was predeceased by her parents.
A funeral will be held on July 15, in England, and a graveside service will be held at Monmouth Ridge Cemetery at a later date (a notice will be posted).
