WINTHROP – Former Winthrop resident Regina Tarr passed away peacefully at her home in Green Valley, Ariz. on March 1, 2021.

Born Dec. 7, 1933 in Somerville, Mass., the eldest daughter of Thomas Gallagher and Mary (Ryan) Gallagher, she lived in Maine and Florida before moving to Arizona in 2001.

She was predeceased by her husband Earle, Jr.; son Earle III (Gus); and siblings Mary, Jean, and Jacqueline. She is survived by her children Judith of Vail, Ariz., William of Topsham, Maine, and Meredith (Rob Woiccak) of New Haven, Conn.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on July 22, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin Street, Winthrop.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on July 23, 2022 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 20 Lake Street, Winthrop, followed by a burial service at Glenside Cemetery.
