MANCHESTER – Charlotte (Bean) MacMaster Page, 90, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022 with family by her side.
Charlotte was born in Topsfield to Guy and Alice Bean and moved to Gardiner in 1942 where she attended and graduated from Gardiner High School with high honors. She married Clifford A. MacMaster in 1951 and they lived in Gardiner until his passing in 1962. In 1966 she married Gregory L. Page and they remained married until his passing in 2015, living in both Augusta and Manchester.
Charlotte loved gardening and was especially proud of her roses. She also enjoyed searching for bargains at lawn sales and thrift stores and going strawberry picking. She and Greg enjoyed their time together traveling in their motorhome and going fishing. Charlotte was a Boston sports fan, her favorite team being the Red Sox, and she rarely missed a game.
Charlotte loved spending time with her family and was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth MacMaster and partner Deborah, a daughter Sandra (Page) Jackson and husband Jeffery; grandchildren Robert MacMaster, Steve MacMaster, Samantha Jackson, Valerie Landmann, Jennifer Cormier, and their families; and her sisters Orise, Patty, and Sharon.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert F. MacMaster; and her siblings Ralph, Harold, Guy Jr., Thelma, and Beverly.
A celebration of life for Charlotte and Gregory will be held at the Manchester Community Church, 31 Readfield Rd., Manchester on August 10 at 10 a.m. with reception to follow. Family committal services will be held later.
