DAMARISCOTTA — Spectrum Generations’ Lincoln County Regional Center, in partnership with Inn Along the Way, is set to host the Ninth annual Aging in the Right Place Forum at 12:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Inn Along the Way on 741 Main St.
Titled Revisioning: Pause and Reflect, this year’s forum will be a reflection of lessons learned from the pandemic in an effort to help aging Mainers and caregivers adjust to our ‘new normal’ without forgetting lessons of the past, according to a news release from the Damariscotta center.
“This year, our forum will be all about reflecting on the good that has happened because of the pandemic,” said Tracy Lloyd of Spectrum Generations. “Instead of having speakers this year, we are focusing on getting information to our citizens that will help them live and age successfully in their chosen community.”
The public is invited to attend this forum. Those who would like to have an informational table can email Tracy Lloyd at [email protected] or call 207-620-1185.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
