PRESQUE ISLE — Local students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have been named to the 2022 spring semester dean’s list. There are no longer distinctions between highest honors, high honors, and honors; instead, all students who achieve academic distinction appear on one honors list. Additionally, an award category has been added to the dean’s list to recognize the academic achievements of part-time students.
Named to the dean’s list was Zach Daniel Faulkner and Rory Earl Bradley, both of Waterville; Kristin L. Ray of Windsor; Marissa Jean Carpenter and Molly Wasilewski, both of Winslow; Sam Folsom of Winthrop; Cassia Cleaveland of Appleton; Hunter Mercier of Fairfield; Kris Joseph Cote of Moscow; and Rebeccah Knowles of Skowhegan.
Named to the part-time recognition list was Kate H. Tozier of Clinton; and Laci Gene Tower of Warren.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
