
Every first Thursday in August, Rangeley Friends of the Arts holds its annual Art in August in the heart of Oquossoc Village in the Rangeley Lakes Region. This year’s offerings included a wide variety of fine art and fine craft.
Winners in both the 2D and 3D category featured woodworking, knitting, pottery, painting and photography, according to a news release from the nonprofit.
Winners in the 3D category:
• First Place: John Hooper;
• Second Place: Nancy Shaul;
• Third Place: Bill and Susan Lewis; and
• Honorable Mention: Robin Henne.
Winners in the 2D category:
• First Place: Scott Perry;
• Second Place: Roger Stevens;
• Third Place: Walter Mularz; and
• Honorable Mention: Dan Johnson.
