Diane M. Bowman

CANAAN – Diane M. Bowman, 62, passed away on Aug. 12, 2022, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on Nov. 16, 1959, the daughter of Frank and May (Beattie) Bowman.

Diane moved to Maine in 2006 to be closer with family. After moving to Maine, she was employed at Orion Rope Works for seven years.

Diane had many hobbies most importantly was spending time with the ones that meant the most. She will always be remembered as a kind, joyful and loving; daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She also had a “wild goofy” side to her she would always be sure to get you to laugh. Diane loved to go play bingo with her lifelong friend Peter Sergi and her brother Walter Bowman. Other hobbies include, shopping, watching Law and Order and her animals, she always had a lot of love for animals. Her grandchildren always were the key to her heart; Colby, River and Kyelynn.

Diane was predeceased by her father and mother, Frank and May (Beattie) Bowman. Siblings; Joan Auch, Jimmy, Johny and Kenny Bowman. Diane is survived by her son, Colby Bowman and spouse Bridget Towle; her daughter, Shelby (Bowman) and her husband Zackariah Bernardini; her brothers, Paul Eliopoulos, Walter, Raymond and Frank Jr. Bowman.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday Aug. 27, 2022, at 250 County Road in Waterville, the Mason Hall at 12 p.m.
