Estelle P. (Derosby) Watson

AUGUSTA – Estelle P. (Derosby) Watson born June 22, 1941, passed away peacefully at Glenridge Long Term Care, Augusta, Maine, on Aug. 10, 2022, at the age of 81.

Estelle was the middle of three daughters born to Peter N. Derosby and Christine O. (Bourque) Derosby. She attended Waterville area schools, married and had three beautiful children. She enjoyed volunteering for the Waterville Area Humane Society and was happiest spending many busy days with her grandchildren. Estelle retired from Hannaford Super Markets (Deli Dept.) where she was widely endeared by her co-workers and customers.

Estelle is predeceased by her son Thomas Owen Watson Jr. “Doc”, both parents, a sister Theresa and husband Donald Loud, and nephew Trad M. Dart.

She is survived by a sister Glenda and husband Micheal Dart, a daughter Torrie and husband Brian Lajoie, a son Donald and wife Lynda Watson. Grandchildren Tausha, Candace, Amber, Asia, Abigail, two nieces, and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Sept. 3, 2022, at Lewis Cemetery, 51 Cottle Road, Oakland, Maine.

A celebration of life at St Bridget Center, 864 Main Street, Vassalboro, Maine, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
