This year’s Litchfield Fair is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, Sept. 9-11, at the 44 Plains Road fairgrounds in Litchfield.
Gates will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 9 and 10, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11.
The fair will feature musical entertainment, agricultural and livestock events, contests, redneck truck pull, demolition derby, youth horse show, barrel racing, Wee Farmers, Old MacDonald’s Farm, the fair museum and food, according to a news release from organizers.
People can see the fair’s newly renovated Exhibition Hall; exhibits must be at the hall Wednesday, Sept. 8.
Admission will cost $9 for adults, $5 for ages 12 to 17 and seniors, and is free for children younger than 12. Seniors get in for free on Friday, Sept. 9.
