Local Band Night will feature 2nd String at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9 at Denmark Arts Center, 50 W Main St. in Denmark.
Hailing from as far away as Waterford and as close as Denmark, 2nd String comes off the bench to deliver a high-impact, low-carbon footprint show at the Arts Center. The group entertains with a mixture of pop, rock, bluegrass, and originals along with a healthy dash of self-deprecation and witty banter. Band members regularly switch up vocals and genres, and with a trumpet or fiddle often covering leads.
The band is comprised of Colin Holme, Justin Ward, Ben Peierls, Mark Priola, and Beth Perron.
Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased online at denmarkarts.org/events.
