Ann V. Quirion

AUGUSTA – Ann V. Quirion, 96, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, following a short illness. She was born in Augusta, on July 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Ann M. (Houlihan) Evers. Mrs. Quirion was a graduate of Cony High School and Gates Business College of Augusta.

She had been employed by Central Maine Power and the State of Maine, was a top Avon saleswoman and a stay at home mother.

Mrs. Quirion was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund J. Quirion; and her brothers: Charles, William, John and Lawrence (Joe) Evers; her sisters: Josephine Evers, Catherine McLaughlin and Mary Green and her son-in-law, Robert Hutton.

Mrs. Quirion is survived by her children: Edmund Quirion (spouse Arlene) of Gardiner, Angela Brown of Sidney, Charles Quirion (spouse Leo Turcotte) of Lewiston, Ann Quirion Hutton of Winslow and Jane Quirion (spouse Matthew Pollack) of Topsham; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relative and friends may visit on Saturday, October 8, from 4-6 p.m., at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 10, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Western Ave., Augusta. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winthrop St., Augusta.
