I am writing today to encourage the citizens of Augusta to vote for my friend Bill Bridgeo for the Maine House.

I first met Bill when I became chairman of the Winthrop Town Council through my friend Cornell Knight; over the next 10 years as chairman I met and communicated with Bill often. Bill had various city departments assist me when Cornell resigned for another job. I remember when Cornell introduced me to Bill as his new council chairman. Bill was very cordial and said, “You will be fine, be open and honest.”

I now live in Augusta and cannot think of anyone more suitable and knowledgeable to be our representative. Bill has shown his ability and credibility to Augusta many times over; serving this city for 23 years. He’s earned our trust. Vote Bridgeo on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
