AUGUSTA — Several high school football games were postponed Friday night because of heavy rain in the forecast.
Skowhegan (6-0), sitting first in Class B North, will now host Class A contender Thornton Academy (4-2) at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Lawrence (3-3) also moved its game with perennial Class A power Bonny Eagle (3-3) to Saturday at 6 p.m.
Here are some other changes:
- Winslow (3-3) will play at Hermon (4-2) on Saturday night at 7.
- Messalonskee (1-5) will play at Brewer (1-5) on Saturday at 5 p.m.
- MCI moved its Friday game against Foxcroft to Thursday night. The Madison/Carrabec-Nokomis game was also moved to Thursday night.
