
Diane Marquis has returned to the Maine Music Society Board of Directors.
In 2015 she retired from St. Mary’s Health System, for whom she was the executive director of philanthropy, overseeing all fundraising and capital campaigns.
She has served on the boards of a variety of organizations: Androscoggin Head Start, Central Maine Community College Educational Foundation Board, Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce (now L-A Metro Chamber of Commerce) and the University of Southern Maine — Lewiston Auburn Campus — Advisory Board. She is the past treasurer of the Beach Villas Owners Association, Treasure Cay Bahamas.
Marquis was also on the MMS Board from 2011-2019, during which time she was a vital member of the Development Committee chairing many fundraising projects; she was instrumental in setting up MMS’s first online auction,
Currently, she is a real estate broker for Better Homes & Gardens Realty, The Masiello Group in Auburn, according to a news release from Connie Hitchcock, MMS marketing co-chair.
A native of Lewiston and Auburn, Marquis now lives in Harpswell.
