WATERVILLE — Joey Reynolds scored two first-half goals to help lift the Winslow boys soccer team to a 3-0 victory over rival Waterville on Monday night at Thomas College’s Bernatchez Field.
Reynolds’ first goal game midway through the first half as he fired a shot from outside the box to the top-left corner to put Winslow (13-0-1) up 1-0. He then doubled the lead with his second tally five minutes before the break.
Andrew Poulin scored Winslow’s third and final goal with four minutes remaining in the game. Max Spicer had two saves for the Black Raiders, who notched their second consecutive unbeaten regular season.
Alex Snape made seven saves for Waterville. The Purple Panthers concluded the regular season 6-8.
LINCOLN ACADEMY 6, GARDINER 0: Jack Duncan scored from Casey Duncan in the 21st minute and Peter Thelander added a goal on a feed from Pablo Jimenez Duran two minutes later as the Eagles (11-1-2) took a 2-0 halftime lead and cruised by the Tigers (8-5-1) at Newcastle.
Jack Duncan finished with three goals for Lincoln Academy, while Jack Castonia and Casey Duncan added goals.
