Mary Wade

PLEASANT RIDGE PLANTATION – Mary Wade, 87, of Pleasant Ridge Plantation went to be with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022.

Mary was married to Neil “Sonny” Wade in 1953, and together they went on to have six children, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Together they opened Sonny’s Pizza in Fairfield. When Sonny wanted to hunt more then make pizzas, they decided to open a hunting lodge in Pleasant Ridge. If you ask the hunters, they would say they came back year after year for Mary’s cooking!

Mary was known to her family as a follower of Christ, she loved the Lord and was an example to her family. She told family many times that she had had a good life, and if you ask anybody that knew her, they would say, Mary was the best.

She is survived by children, Melinda Richards, Neil Wade Jr. and wife Karen, Timothy and wife, Christie Wade; Her grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, Jake, Jessica, Matthew, Elizabeth, Kevin, Kaitlin, Casey, Cole, Caleb, Stephanie, and Megan; Great- grandchildren: Thomas, Nikalis, Fletcher, Faye, Mckenzy, Kamryn, Nicholas, Benjamin, Jackson, Easton, Reiliann, Radleigh, Mikah, Charlotte, Mason, Aubrey, Scarlett, Emitt, Isaac, Noah, Gabriel, and Dillon. She is predeceased by her husband, Neil Wade Sr.; sons, Daniel and Eugene; daughter, Dianna; her favorite son-in law, Daniel Richards, Lil Dan and an answer to a prayer, Sunshine Mary-Beth.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at 2 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, 7 Meadow Street, Bingham.
