I am the Register of Probate for Kennebec County and have worked there 29 years. I’m writing to support Charlotte Warren for Kennebec County commissioner. She is the right person at the right time.

Having been co-chair of the Legislature’s Criminal Justice Committee, Warren understands the jail funding formulas and issues. She will bring new ideas to the table. Times have changed yet they have not, as untreated mental illness and addiction fill our jails and jam our probate courts with guardianships of children and adults.

It’s easy to complain but we need solutions and I know Charlotte to be a solution-oriented person. I am certain she will ask the hard questions as Nancy Rines has for many years. Please vote for Charlotte!
