WILTON _ St. Luke’s Episcopal Church has announced that the Rev. John Balicki is its new rector.
Before becoming an Episcopal priest, Balicki has been a civil engineer, regional planner, Catholic priest, pastoral counselor, and the bicycle/pedestrian coordinator for the state of Maine.
Most recently, he served as Episcopal priest at St. Alban’s Church in Cape Elizabeth and at St. Mark’s in Waterville, according to a news release from Lisa Lindsay, parish administrator.
St. Luke’s will hold a celebration of new ministry, with the Episcopal Diocese of Maine Bishop Thomas J. Brown presiding. All are welcome to attend.
