Donna Quirion Paradis West

CHELSEA- Donna Quirion Paradis West 64, Chelsea, went to be with her heavenly father on Oct. 27, 2022, at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Augusta, Maine, on Jan. 7, 1958, to Donald Quirion and Paulina Taylor Paradis. She was later adopted by Roger Paradis. She graduated Waterville High School in 1978.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Edwin West, Sr., one Son Roger West and his wife Melissa West, three stepchildren Edwin West, Jr. and his wife Lisa West, Staci West Bowman and her husband Gregory Bowman, Samantha West Valera and her husband Jesse Valera. She is also survived by a brother, Donald Paradis, two sisters Paulina Cates and Rhonda Murray, her stepmother, Viola Paradis, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her mother Paulina Paradis, her father Donald Quirion, her adopted father, Roger Paradis, and her beloved brother Paul Paradis.

She was very talented doing crafts and she loved to share her crafts with all her family instructing them on how to crochet and other crafts. When she made something for herself, she could not help herself but to make several for family and friends. She also was an avid pet owner; she especially loved her Pomeranians.

Donna’s Memorial Service will be in the Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St. Augusta on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery,163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta, Section B on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
