John Anthony Patrick

RANDOLPH – John Anthony Patrick, 62, of Randolph, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022 around 9 p.m. in the comfort of his own home.

He was born in Augusta on Dec. 2, 1959, the son of Frederick and Eileen (Cronin) Patrick.

John had an infectious smile and an uncanny ability to make everyone laugh and smile with him. He loved classic rock, especially old classic country music, and was a wizard with horseshoes and crossword puzzles. John had a passion for baseball both playing and watching, and his favorite team was the Atlanta Braves. John was a legend to his nieces, nephews and son’s friends growing up.

John is survived by his son, Timber Patrick of Randolph, his stepdaughter, Andrea Cox of Farmingdale; ex-wife and friend, Gretchen Patrick of Randolph; big brother, Dennis Patrick and wife Brenda of Beverly, Mass., sister, Bridget Palmer of Hallowell, brother, Jim Patrick and wife Cheryl of Gardiner, sister Patty Grant and husband Ken of Chelsea; several nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren.

John will be buried in the Cronin lot at Hallowell Cemetery, beside his beloved mother, Eileen R. Cronin, at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 10, following the burial visiting hours and a celebration of John’s life will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
