I’m writing regarding the hateful mailer that House District 52 received from the Dinner Table PAC attacking Democratic candidate Sally Cluchey. The mailer was full of falsehoods.

Here are some facts: Sally is a Maine Clean Elections Act candidate and her campaign is supported and funded by Mainers. Sally has never run for office before, but she is very involved in her community. She has been on the Bowdoinham Food Pantry board since 2015. She has coached local kids in cross country and directs the Chicken Run fundraiser for the Bowdoinham Community School.

The claim that the Biden White House supports Sally is particularly amusing; we must have missed President Biden’s official endorsement.

Sally Cluchey has proven her dedication to her community and doesn’t deserve to be smeared like this. Join me in telling the Dinner Table that Mainers don’t want this kind of smear campaign in our politics.
